Super Power 1 - Expression
As a blogger, you get to express yourself to the world! You can share anything you want (nothing illegal please!) in as many formats as you want. You can use your writing, vocal (audio), photography, or video skills to broadcast your messages. In essence, you are building a part of yourself online. You are making a digital DNA of everything you are. Go ahead and use this super power and become one with the world!
Super Power 2 - Friendship
The power of friendship is in high demand, but not easily acquired. As your blog becomes more and more visited, you will start to notice something strange, something unique, something that will give you joy. You will start getting what are known as "comments" from what seem to be COMPLETE strangers. These comments will be point of interest from people who understand you, who know what you feel, who understand where you are coming from. They may strengthen you, support you, or even add to your existence, but eventually these "comments" will turn into regular friendships. Beware the power of friendship will grow your blog to a new level of readership but once acquired this power must be maintained or you could lose it as fast as saying BLOG... it is NOT a permanent power and as all friendships, do onto others as they do onto you!
Super Power 3 - Networking
This power will make you be everywhere at once. However, it will be the power that will take most of your energy. As you build your blog, you need to let everyone know your exist, therefore this power is crucial to your growth. This power can be obtained by joining some of the most popular social networking platforms (i.e.: twitter, facebook, linkedin, youtube, myspace, etc...) and posting important updates / comments about your blog. Keep in mind that people you know are not the only ones that could benefit from this power, so you must figure out the hidden secrets of each platform. A super power boost is obtained by using tools such a ping.fm which lets you post to many social network in one shot. You post once and submit...voila, you have an instant Networking Super Power Boost!
Super Power 4 - Creation
As in any new creation, there is a beginning and an end. This power let's you create anything you want and is the heart and soul of the first three super powers. None of the other super powers will work without this power, so you MUST obtain and maintain this power at all times! The only way to accomplish this is by creating new blog post constantly and consistently! Each time a new post is created with this power, you will be able to use power three to announce this new creation, power 2 to gain friendship and new comments, and power 1 to express the new creation in your way. The use of this power must be maintained at a minimum of three times a week...but the more you use it the stronger it gets. Please note that should you use a creation not of your own, the effects could be good or bad depending on the creation content. Remember that within the rock you could find kryptonite! Super Power 5 - Perfect Image
The final super power is the one that makes the biggest impact to initially attract readers and pull everything together...the perfect image super power! If you had the opportunity to select between a free new Lexus SUV or a free old rusted beater...which would you choose? Not hard to decide right! The same thing goes with blogs. If you have two blogs about cars with exactly the same content but one looks blah, with no pictures, no logo, no personality, and the other has the Perfect Image super power with great logo, amazing graphics that represents the theme of the blog, and great pictures that further accentuates the blog chances are the super power hero will prevail. Make sure that you use this super power to create the perfect image!
